My Plan

Dr. Jenny Johnson's Plan to make Wirral West an even better place to live:

1. Protecting our Green Belt for future generations: Local Conservatives won the fight against Leverhulme Trust’s plans to concrete over our green spaces. Jenny will work with Councillors and community groups to ensure that we get a local plan that protects Wirral's Green Belt for future generations and puts brownfield sites first.

2. Tackling Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour: The Government has delivered 724 new police officers for Merseyside. Jenny will work closely with officers to identify hotspots for crime and anti-social behaviour and raise resident's concerns with them.

3. Saving our Hoylake amenity beach: As the fight to save Hoylake Beach continues, Jenny will work with local councillors, residents, and community groups to ensure that our amenity beach is restored rather than allow it to become an unserviceable moss.

4. Improving road safety for road users and pedestrians: Understanding the need for road safety, Jenny will work with Wirral's communities to identify hotspots for excessive speeding and dangerous driving to ensure that traffic calming measures are carried out only in targeted areas that need it most.

5. Improving Transport and accessibility: Wirral West remains forgotten by the Combined Authority and Labour and Labour Liverpool City Region Mayor. Jenny will fight for more funding to ensure Wirral West gets its fair share, and that public transport is accessible and serviceable for all.

6. Supporting Healthcare services on Wirral: With a background in Healthcare leadership. Jenny is passionate about health services. Jenny will campaign to ensure that families across Wirral West have access to primary healthcare services and by listening to residents and working together, work towards creating a culture of health and wellbeing.
